Projectplace’s cloud security top rated by Skyhigh CloudTrust Program

Projectplace, Europe’s leading cloud-based project collaboration tool, announces that it has been awarded the Skyhigh CloudTrust rating of Enterprise-Ready for its cloud service, the highest CloudTrust rating possible.

The Skyhigh Enterprise-Ready seal bearers are cloud services that fully satisfy the most stringent requirements for cloud security: data protection, identity verification, service security, business practices, and legal protection. Projectplace is the first Scandinavian company to receive the approval.

“With thousands of cloud services available in the market, choosing the right one for your organisation can feel daunting because making the wrong choice could have disastrous consequences for your company’s reputation and bottom line. Independent audits such as the Skyhigh CloudTrust Program are invaluable for businesses, offering peace of mind for decision makers. Projectplace was one of the world’s first Software-as-a-Service vendor when we launched in 1998, and we are very proud to be awarded the Enterprise-Ready seal. It’s a result of our continuous commitment to safeguarding our customers’ data through the highest levels of security.” says Erkan Kahraman, the Chief Trust Officer of Projectplace.

Skyhigh identifies and classifies thousands of cloud services and provides an objective and detailed evaluation of the enterprise-readiness of each based on a detailed set of criteria. The evaluation spans five categories:

  • Data attributes
  • User and device attributes
  • Service attributes
  • Business attributes
  • Legal attributes

“Selecting an enterprise-ready service like Projectplace is critical, but performing product evaluations is expensive and time consuming, especially with the breadth of services available today,” said Rajiv Gupta, founder and CEO of Skyhigh Networks. “The Skyhigh CloudTrust Rating streamlines the evaluation process by providing an objective and comprehensive evaluation of a service’s security controls and enterprise readiness.”

About the Skyhigh CloudTrust Rating The Skyhigh CloudTrust Rating provides an objective and comprehensive evaluation of a service's security controls and enterprise readiness based on a detailed set of criteria developed in conjunction with the CSA, Cloud Security Alliance. Because Skyhigh produces the most extensive, current, and credible trust ratings for cloud services, enterprises rely on the Skyhigh CloudTrust Rating to inform both decisions and policy pertaining to the use of cloud services in their environment.
