Strong traction for Projectplace’s ToDo: 10,000 registered users since launch

Projectplace’s free cloud-based collaboration tool ToDo has passed 10,000 registered users, seeing a 20% month-over-month growth rate in active users since its launch in April this year. ToDo brings cloud-based collaboration with scalability and enterprise-grade security to organisations and teams of all sizes, for free. Over a third of new ToDo users access the tool on their smartphone.

ToDo makes seamless team communication easy by bringing the highly visual Kanban boards from Projectplace to everyone’s fingertips. It empowers people to self-organize and work towards a common goal on the same easy-to-use platform.

Organizations and agile teams of all sizes across sectors such as marketing, education and software development, which often involves a lot of team collaboration, benefits from workflow planning on ToDo.

"What I like about ToDo is its ease-of-use,” says Daniel Zutavern, Director at Digital Leadership. “It provides a great user experience, with the ability to drag and drop cards containing activities on the board as the project progresses. There are many Kanban Tools out there – but this one is simple, great and flexible – and I know most of them. ToDo has a lot of potential.”

ToDo frees teams from their PCs, desks and offices, enabling people to collaborate and communicate whenever, wherever, using the device of their choice. ToDo can be used in the browser or by downloading the Projectplace app from the App Store. The latest user figures reveal that over a third of ToDo users access the tool on their smartphone and a third  work as part of a distributed team.

Rickard Kristoffersson, COO of Brightvision comments: “Managing the production at a growing company like ours means constantly shifting focus, both on a daily and hourly basis. Everything from finding the right people to hire, helping to start a new big campaign, to developing new software to improve our business. In the past I’ve struggled with post-its, different notebooks and all too many flags in my inbox. With everything organized in ToDo I finally feel relief knowing exactly what to do, and when to do it.”

What makes ToDo different from other free cloud-based collaboration platforms is that it is suitable for both SMEs and larger enterprises. It is built on the rock-solid foundation of Projectplace’s 16 years’ experience of bringing secure, seamless and scalable collaboration to some of the world’s biggest and best known organizations, including Carlsberg, Sony, Vodafone, BP and AEG. Founded in 1998 as the world’s first Software-as-a-Service company, Projectplace today has close to 1 million users, collaborating on 150,000 projects globally.

“The workplace environment has changed dramatically over recent years. Teams often collaborate from different locations and time zones,” says Johan Zetterström, CEO of Projectplace.  “We are very happy with the momentum and that ToDo has been received this well. It is designed to be visual, intuitive and easy to use. It makes everything your team needs from documents to contacts, instantly accessible. Our typical users vary from individuals and small teams with collaboration challenges, all the way through to large organizations with a disparate workforce.”

ToDo is available in different user editions to accommodate the evolving needs of growing organizations. A Pro edition of ToDo, with the possibility of adding more members and teams, is aimed at the most demanding collaborators. The Plus version allows you to add modules such as Agile Gantt charts, which makes ToDo unique in its segment. Users can also upgrade seamlessly to the premium Projectplace platform – the only collaboration and project management tool available in the market that combines powerful project office management functionality and day-to-day Kanban board workflows in one tool.
