Swedish Femme Boost celebrated by the international beverage industry

Swedish-based Femme Boost continues to have a bright future ahead. In the past week the small Swedish company behind the functional drink "Femme Natural Boost" was celebrated by the global beverage industry for their innovative product and their strong part in defining a new sub segment within the functional and energy drink market.

During this years Drinktec and Anuga trade shows, the world's two leading trade fairs for the beverage industry, Femme Boost was actively recognised by the industry in the award ceremonies. In competition with the global beverage industry, including major players such as Coca Cola and Pepsi, Femme Boost finished as finalists in several categories such as "Best New brand or business", "Best new beverage concept", "Best beverage ingredient" and also the winner of the award as "Best retail packaging Innovation."

The fact that a small Swedish company receives these awards in competition with the world's largest and most recognized brands is fantastic, we feel almost as David's kid brother versus Goliath.

The events of the last week are proof that we are doing the right things and contribute to a positive momentum as the company is now expected to move into a strong growth phase. We have historically been cautious about expanding geographically and have until now been available in Sweden and Norway. Our main focus until now has been on fine-tuning our offering and brand concept. We will shortly introduce “Femme Boost – Sugar Free” a Stevia based version of the original product to further strengthen our offering.

In 2014 we expect a strong geographical expansion build on our historic success and through strong partnerships. We are very optimistic about the future and are confident that we are on the right track.”
