Welcome to Stockholm’s Münchenbryggeriet

Münchenbryggeriet Magasinet is a different venue than that of a typical conference. It matches the same style and format we’ve had in Norway since we started in 2011: a venue originally built for a different purpose, which now transformed with esthetics and class, into an arena where innovation, knowledge and inspiration is brought together.

The old brewery produced beer for over a 100 years and at its peak, produced around 60.000 bottles of beer per hour. Their last bottle was capped in 1971, when they moved to a new brewery in Bromma, Stockholm.

Back in 1893 a big fire broke out in the brewery, destroying most of the buildings. Architect Hjalmar Karlsson and engineer Alvin Jacobi were responsible for the rebuild, and it is from their work the brewery grew into the buildings as we see them today.

For the last 30-odd years the venue has been used for different events, concerts and parties. What started as two halls with a total floor area of 1300 m2 are now eleven different rooms with a total floor area of 6000 m2.

“During all these years we have always strived to preserve the brewery heritage, thus giving the venue its unique historical feel and character.”

With over 30 years of event experience we have no doubt Münchenbryggeriet; Magasinet is the perfect venue for rethink’s first conference in Sweden. We are very excited and look forward to share rethink conf with a new and broader audience. We are certain you will like this place as much as we do, and we can’t wait to see you there!
