The best floorball goalie in the world choose Salming!
The Finnish national team goalkeeper Eero Kosonen, who is playing for the Swedish silvermedalist 2017 Växjö Vipers, has signed a two years contract with Salming. Eero Kosonen was appointed to be the best floorball goalie in the world last season. His efforts in the WC final against Sweden were absolutely crucial that the gold medailles landed in Finland.
- We are extremely happy and proud to get the opportunity to work together with Eero Kosonen for the next years, he is an extremely important player, not only for his club Växjö Vipers, but also for the Finnish national team, says Pär Eriksson, sales manager at Salming Floorball.
What Salming saw in Eero is his focus, he never leaves anything to chance.
- He is also genuinely interested in his equipment and will be able to give constructive feedback to our product developing team, says Pär Eriksson.
Eero has got in contact with the products through his team Växjö Vipers and the cooperation they have with Salming. He has tested everything from Slide, the first goalie shoe that was launched a few years ago, to the brand new Carbon X helmet.
- I have seen how tight Salming works with it´s ambassadors and I look forward to represent the brand and be a part of the product developing process, says Eero Kosonen. The focus Salming has on the goalie equipment feels genuine and exiting and I like the new Carbon X helmet very much.
Exempt Eero Konsonen, since a few years the Swedish national team goalkeeper Viktor Klintsten is a part of the Salming team. Viktor has also been an important part in the development of the Carbon X, probably the lightest goalie helmet in the premium segment. The recruitment of Kosonen together with the launch of the new helmet show that Salming invests heavily in goalie equipment. And there is more to come, this is only the start on an even more clear focus on floorball.
- We will launch a lot of floorball news during late autumn, more than that I can´t reveal right now, says Gunnar Oesterreich, marketing manager at Salming.
