Beauty chain The Body Shop implements SEQR
SEQR announces that beauty chain The Body Shop will implement the mobile payment solution nationwide in Finland. SEQR launched in Finland earlier in 2014 with burger chain Hesburger and since then it has been implemented nationwide at TopSport, a leading Finnish sports goods chain. During the first quarter of 2015, SEQR will be rolled out to The Body Shop’s all 33 stores in Finland.
The Body Shop’s customers will be able to pay with their smartphones simply by scanning a QR-code by the cash register, or tapping it if using NFC. In addition to paying for their goods, consumers will also be able to connect loyalty cards, receive offers and promotions, transfer money and store receipts digitally.
”We see that mobile payments are becoming increasingly popular. People practically never leave their homes without their smartphones, and we want to be among the first in Finland to offer our customers a smarter way to pay. We are always looking for opportunities and solutions that can make the customer experience better and we feel that SEQR ticks all the boxes,” says Aarno Pohtola, head franchise entrepreneur for The Body Shop Finland.

Before the end of November 2014, jewellery chain Laatukoru and grocery store Kauppahuone Pyrhönen will also be implementing SEQR as a payment option.
