Finland’s premier media corporation MTV enters agreement with Sparta to fuel growth and sales performance
Sparta is excited to announce today that we’ve signed a long-term strategic agreement with MTV Oy, to implement Sparta’s performance management software solution across their entire sales department.
“We have an ambitious goal to become Finland’s best performing sales organisation by 2018 and we see our investment in Sparta as a crucial step towards achieving this goal. We believe Sparta will help us build a stronger internal culture which will help us boost our sales performance, and give us a great chance of hitting our long term strategic goals” Sami Vikback – SVP Commercial at MTV Oy
MTV is a Finnish media company with its roots firmly in television’s early days in 1950s Finland. MTV was one of the first commercial television companies in Europe: only ITV in the UK and RTL in Central Europe were established before it. MTV is owned by the Swedish media company Bonnier AB. The company had an annual turnover of 230M€ in 2015.
James Pember, CEO at Sparta comments: “We’re extremely excited about our collaboration with MTV, one of the oldest and premier media corporations in Europe. Like every media corporation, they are facing some intimidating challenges – digitalisation, the shift of advertising from traditional to online and changing consumer entertainment preferences. However, we’re positive that with a highly engaged team and a strong recognised brand – MTV can continue to thrive and deliver fantastic financial results and value for their customers. We’re excited to see how our software can help them build and maintain a healthy high performance culture to set them up for future success. ”
