Denmark-India Innovation Challenge and Denmark-India Business Challenge winners announced

Student Competitions and Innovation Centre Denmark are proud to announce the winners of the Denmark-India Innovation Challenge and Denmark-India Business Challenge. The competitions were organised with the aim of finding India’s top talented students and to spread information about Denmark among Indian students.

The winners were announced on October 31st and were awarded during an exciting prize event in Bangalore on November 7 and in Delhi on November 9. During the prize event the winners had a chance to meet with representatives from some of Denmark’s top universities and companies.

The Denmark-India Innovation Challenge

The competition, which was held for the first time, was open to all Indian citizens and resulted in almost 2500 participants entering the competition. The winners of the Denmark-India Innovation Challenge were all awarded with a fully paid study trip to Denmark where they will visit some of Denmark’s best universities, enjoy guided tours of Copenhagen and get to know representatives from Danish companies. A big congratulations to the three lucky winners of the Denmark-India Innovation Challenge:

  • Abhishek Rao Yatirajyam - Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur
  • Neha Batra - University of Delhi
  • Akhil Ajay - University of Delhi

The Denmark-India Business Challenge:

The Denmark-India Business Challenge also premiered this year, but focused on Indian business students. Over 1100 Indian students competed in the challenge with the hope of being selected as the ultimate winner of the competition. Three lucky winners were awarded with a scholarship to Zealand Institute of Business and Technology, as well as a monthly allowance of 62,000 INR. In addition to the scholarship prize, three winners were also awarded with an all expense paid study trip to Denmark.

  • Jyoti Narula – University of Delhi
