Tomorrow May 22nd 2013, the 14th annual BioEquity Europe is being held in Stockholm. The conference offers a unique possibility to meet companies listed on Stockholm-Uppsala Life Science Investment Hotlist during an exclusive showcase.

Wages continued to grow in Stockholm during the fourth quarter of 2012. The biggest increase was in the public sector. Growth softened in the private sector; business startups were fewer and the labor market weakened with an increase in layoffs and the number of unemployed. However, overall employment increased at the same time. These are the results of the latest Stockholm Economy report.

The European Association for the Study of Diabetes has chosen Stockholm as the site of its major conference in the autumn of 2015. The city will thus be hosting the event for the fourth time. The decision was motivated by Stockholm's good conditions and Stockholmsmässan's long experience in arranging international conferences. The region is also one of the world's leading in diabetes research.
