Totalt investeras drygt 100 miljoner kronor i ett nytt entrétorg som ger besökare och utställare en tydlig och inspirerande utgångspunkt till de olika evenemangen, samtidigt som ett nyttt centralt placerat presscenter invigs. Stockholmsmässans nya entré ska vara klar hösten 2013.

Almost 700 wines competed in 37 classes, within ten different flavour types. Within each category, a gold, silver and bronze winner is then named. These are Sweden’s best-value wines.

The menu at this temporary pop-up restaurant will be devised by the Chef of the Year Association, including contributions from Klas Lindberg, Tommy Myllymäki and Markus Aujalay, all winners of the Chef of the Year title.

Visitors can learn about the tasting and re-corking of the bottles of champagne found in a shipwreck in the Åland Archipelago. At the fair, there will also be wine tasting and glass testing with Gaja and Riedel, as well as beer tasting with brewmaster Garrett Oliver.

They came to an exhibition center packed to the rafters with around 900 exhibitors from more than 30 countries. There were also some interesting contributions to the energy debate.
