Come and Eat, Meet and Enjoy at Formex
The Formex interior design and gifts fair on 15-18 August is a chance for visitors to experience a blend of food, meetings and inspiration in the buffet zone and the exhibition Eat Meet Enjoy, inspired by this fall’s trend theme Eclectic Touch.
Formex’s exhibition and buffet zone, designed by Jan Rundgren, will be a place for visitors to sit down, relax and enjoy Chef Mikael Bergsten’s carefully selected menu.
“It’s been fun working with Mikael Bergsten and finding an overall solution; something that captures the spirit of the times. For many restaurants, interior design has become just as important as having premium raw produce and exotic menus. Creating a unique concept for a store or restaurant can be the key to success. Getting the combination exactly right allows you to create suggestive atmospheres and intriguing surroundings,” says Jan Rundgren.
The Eat Meet Enjoy exhibition is based on this fall’s Eclectic Touch trend theme. Collisions of patterns and colors create scope for everyone to find inspiration and get a wealth of new ideas. The multi-functional exhibition space will feature products from exhibitors, as well as a combination of new and antique furniture. It will showcase on-trend styles, and visitors will be able to sit and eat in the middle of the exhibition.
“The exhibition centers on a lot of color and patterns; it will be vibrating with impressions. But it will also be a wonderful place for visitors to relax, get together or just have a bite to eat during the fair,” explains Jan Rundgren.
