Prinzing Group acquires Züblin Gebäudetechnik GmbH

The Prinzing Group, with registered office in Salach, Baden-Württemberg, has acquired Züblin Gebäudetechnik GmbH, with registered office in Erlangen, Bavaria, effective retroactively to 1 January 2017. The company had previously been a 100 % subsidiary of Ed. Züblin AG of Stuttgart. Effective immediately, Züblin Gebäudetechnik GmbH will do business as Prinzing Gebäudetechnik GmbH. Except for the new name and the move to the Prinzing Group, nothing will change for employees, clients and suppliers.

“We can look back on a long, cooperative and successful working relationship with the Prinzing Group. After the sale, it is business as usual. All the business units will be continued, and the seat of the company will remain in Erlangen,” says Johannes Ellrich. Ellrich has been managing director of Züblin Gebäudetechnik since the founding of the company in 2004 and he will also manage the business of Prinzing Gebäudetechnik GmbH in this function.

“We look forward to getting to know the new colleagues and are sure that we can offer them a stable future,” says Volker Prinzing, owner of the Prinzing Group. “The clients can also count on continuity. We will continue to reliably deliver the full range of building services.”

Prinzing Gebäudetechnik GmbH (formerly Züblin Gebäudetechnik GmbH) has about 120 employees and is one of the largest companies in the sector in northern Bavaria. The core competencies lie in the fields of heating and refrigeration engineering, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, sanitary engineering, instrumentation and control engineering, and utilities supply.
