Champagne and iced tea now served outdoors at Svenskt Tenn

On May 30, Svenskt Tenn’s Tea Room opens its outdoor seating at Strandvägen in Stockholm. An addition for this season is that guests can enjoy a glass of wine or Champagne, along with the city view over Nybroviken bay.

The outdoor menu includes ice cream in seasonal flavours, refreshing iced tea, Matcha tea milkshakes and a selection of small savory dishes, including a breakfast offer with coffee and sandwich.

”We got a wonderful reception as we introduced outdoor seating last year, which makes the outlook for the upcoming summer season even brighter,” says Linnea Fjellander, manager of the Tea Room. ”We are delighted to offer a slightly expanded range of beverages and snacks for this year.”

Freshly made ice cream is served in varying flavours using seasonal ingredients, except for the Jasmine tea and Lemon ice cream, which is nearing the status as a signature taste of the house. The iced tea flavours are all new.

”During the indoor season, we have experimented with tea flavours, resulting in new iced teas such as Milky Oolong och Matcha Lemonade,” adds Linnea Fjellander.

14 guests can be seated outdoors, open during regular store hours. Upstairs, inside the store, the Tea Room will be open as usual.

Prices: Snacks starting at SEK 65, ice cream SEK 40, iced tea SEK 65, Matcha milkshake SEK 70. A glass of wine SEK 115, Champagne SEK 135.
