Aug 30, 2012 11:15 CEST Free WiFi is being launched for all passengers at Swedavia’s airports – a new service available to anyone who wants to use their time at the airport to surf or work with high-speed Internet. Passengers will have access to three hours of Internet or 100 MB a day at no cost.

Meanwhile, Swedish travellers are choosing Spain in ever larger numbers. Foreign visitors at Swedavia’s airports accounted for a full 83 per cent of the increase in international travel during the year, which shows that Sweden continues to grow as an attractive destination.

Stockholm Arlanda pioneered a number of innovations in air traffic management to reduce carbon emissions. Now the airport, in partnership with the Swedish Transport Administration and Viktoria Institute, is further reducing its environmental impact while making door-to-door travel more sustainable.
