ADAPT Parasol – Demand controlled ventilation with muscles

Swegon, market leading producer and supplier of energy efficient ventilation and climate systems and the largest wholly owned company in Investment AB Latour, presents the comfort module ADAPT Parasol, a hybrid product uniting the advantages of the WISE and PARASOL product families.

 With a modern building in mind it would be perfect with a ventilation product having:

• The power to supply a room with all the fresh air, heating and cooling necessary

• The precision to adapt exactly to the current demands of each room, for optimal economy and comfort

• The flexibility to handle future changes to the floor layout, without expensive re-installations

• The controls for plug-n’-play with the rest of the climate system

This might sound like an unrealistic wish list, but the product in question already exists – it is called ADAPT Parasol and is made by Swegon.

At first sight the ADAPT Parasol may look like any other waterborne comfort module from Swegon’s well-known PARASOL family – dimensions, sound levels and output are the same – but behind the surface plate are several unique solutions providing whole new possibilities. First you find a smart room controller calculating the demand for cooling, heating and supply air, based on presence, temperature and air quality. The controller is connected to an integrated damper solution, regulating the air supply within a wide operating range. Last but not least, the product is also directly compatible with Swegon’s system for demand – WISE – meaning energy saving optimization of the whole system and an easy overview from room level all the way up to zone and system level.
