Increased capacity and new opportunities with PARASOL Zenith

With the introduction of the PARASOL product family in 2005, Swegon set the standard for comfort modules. The combination of 4-way ventilation and waterborne heating and cooling was highly appreciated and more than 300 000 units have been installed worldwide since. Now Swegon is introducing PARASOL Zenith, a premium product series with higher cooling capacity and clever features that make the entire building process run even smoother.

To increase the cooling and air volume capacity of a comfort module is not hard, the difficult thing is to do it without creating draught or noise, which brings down the indoor climate comfort level. Thanks to a brand new product platform with double air outlets, double heat exchangers and double nozzle arrays, Swegon’s PARASOL Zenith has a unique ability to ventilate and climatise even large and demanding rooms, with maintained indoor climate comfort. The series also includes a new product size, 1800 mm, with enough capacity to climatise up to 40 m2 per unit, which often means a reduced number of products needed per building floor, and reduced investment costs.

Product Manager Anders Eriksson explains: ”High capacity together with a unique ability to redistribute the supply air, symmetrically or asymmetrically, give fantastic possibilities to adapt the product to changing needs in the building. Naturally without sacrificing the indoor climate comfort. That makes PARASOL Zenith a wise investment, both short and long term.”

Among other new features, the PARASOL Zenith can be equipped with air duct connection either on the long side or short side of the product, which makes it easy to optimise the ductwork. Anders Eriksson again: “Space is often very scarce above false ceilings, where ventilation needs to be fitted together with other equipment, such as lighting and fire protection. Duct connection alternatives has been highly prioritized on many consultants’ and installers’ wish lists, and it’s great to be able to provide a good solution”.
