Swegon strengthens organization for future growth

Swegon, since the beginning of 2013 led by new CEO Hannu Saastamoinen, implemented in the beginning of this year a new organization structure, creating new business areas based on market segments. The objective has been to create a more agile organization with shorter and more dynamic decision routes and with much improved natural collaboration between departments.

Swegon, wholly owned by Latour, has also implemented a number of strategic recruitments to strengthen the organization for future growth. Kenth Granljung joined Swegon in March as Regional Sales Director Nordics and Sweden. Before joining Swegon, Granljung was Regional Sales Director Northern Europe with TA Hydronics. Anders Engvall, previously with Fläkt Woods, joins Swegon later this spring as Business Development Manager on a Nordic level.

In the last few days it was also concluded that Jan Risén joins Swegon as Systems Development Director. Risén has a long experience from the ventilation industry and especially from the controls- and regulation field. Risén was most recently R&D Director with Fläkt Woods.

Hannu Saastamoinen, CEO, comments the strategic recruitments;  ”I am hugely proud to welcome these competent colleagues to Swegon. For us as an employer it is encouraging that they, with their extensive industry experience, see exciting challenges and significant personal development potential within Swegon. Together with our existing teams they will all play important roles in our future development.”

Saastamoinen continues;  ”We have during the last year had focus on strategy and structure and we have also made a number of critical recruitments on Group Management level. We now feel well prepared to take on the ambitious growth journey that lies ahead of us.”
