Truecaller named as one of "Sweden's 33 hottest young technology companies"

The list of "Sweden's 33 hottest young technology companies" compiled jointly by the editors of the business newspapers Ny Teknik (New Technology) and Affärsvärlden (Business World). The list tracks which of today's Swedish technology startups have the potential to become tomorrow’s trading giants.

Truecaller was named one of the 33 companies that local business newspapers Ny Teknik and Affärlsvärlden consider to be Sweden's hottest young technology companies.

“To enter the 33-list feels incredibly powerful,” says Alan Mamedi, CEO of Truecaller. “For us, it’s confirmation that we are on the way to change an entire industry internationally. The list has a special meaning for us since the list is all about innovation and innovation is in our DNA, but also something that the whole Truecaller team is working hard to achieve on a daily basis.”

The 33-list criterias:

• Develop a unique product or service of innovation

• Have a great international potential and the potential to be a game changer in their industry

• Be based in Sweden

• Be a maximum of seven years old (having started no earlier than 2006)

• Not publicly listed
