Xstream delivers the world's first TV app available on all Samsung Smart-TVs and Blu-Ray

As the first newspaper worldwide, Jyllands-Posten, has turned their entire newspaper, with articles and videos, into an innovative, custom built news app available on all Samsung Smart TVs. It is the Danish company, Xstream, who has developed, designed and created the world’s first Smart-TV app available on all Samsung Smart TV models and Blu-Ray players.
Xstream just launched the feature of SMS payment for our customer Nutv.dk in Denmark. Enabling their customers to make a onetime payment for 24 hour access to the VOD portal, or a 30-day subscription based payment to the VOD portal.

The Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten, has been using Xstream’s end-to-end online video platform, MediaMaker, since 2002. We interviewed the Head of Web-tv at JPtv.dk, Jacob Bendixen Andersen, to learn more about how they use MediaMaker in their daily work, their views on online video, how they use it as an integrated part of their journalistic work and his view on the future of online video.
