Rototilt® launching heavy-duty railway grapple

Rototilt® is broadening its product line with an entirely new grapple, especially designed for those heavier jobs, such as work with railway sleepers and rails.

"With the demand we’ve seen for a more powerful grapple module optimized for railway work, it feels good to be able to present the new grapple to our customers,” says Sven-Roger Ekström, product manager at Rototilt. “The railway grapple is designed to be light and strong, and angled at 40° for maximum efficiency.”

The new grapple is optimised for use with Rototilt’s other tools. It is also detachable and is based on the same principle as Rototilt’s other grapple modules with quick coupler docking. This makes it extremely flexible when operators need to do many different types of jobs and easily switch between tools and attachments.

"Safety is very important to us and receives our utmost attention in designing all our products,” says Sven-Roger Ekström. “Operators should feel safe with Rototilt. As a part of our total solution, the grapple has integrated load-holding valves.”

The new grapple is designed and built for long service life with heavy-duty claws.
