BUCHER GROUP SIGNS A CONTRACT WITH SATAIR FOR GALLEY SPARE PARTS

At the Satair booth at Aircraft Interiors in Hamburg, the Bucher Group and Satair signed an agreement for the supply of Galley spare parts, thereby sealing the first collaborative agreement between the two companies.

The Bucher Group is a Swiss based company with over 60 years of experience in the aircraft interiors business and a leading manufacturer of Galleys, Monuments and Medical Systems. Products and solutions produced by the Bucher Group are used for Airbus, Boeing, Pilatus and many other aircraft. Likewise, Satair has more than 60 years of experience within the aerospace aftermarket industry, making the company a world leader within the commercial aftermarket within parts distribution and services.

Signing for the Bucher Group, Beat Burlet, CEO said: “With this agreement, our customers will benefit from regional stocks and support while keeping the same conditions they’ve had with us. The goal of this collaboration is to provide regional solutions and support to reduce lead-times and thereby further improve our award winning customer service.”

Attending the signing event was Morten Olsen, Head of Product Management - Vice President at Satair, who agreed that the partnership between the two experienced companies will be of great value to the customers: “With the combined experience of our companies within the aerospace industry, we hope to provide customers with improved regional solutions and support, which will give an increased value in the form of shorter lead-times and exceptional customer support.”

The contract is effective as of April 2019.
