World's first Party for the Animals, for our planet and all its inhabitants

We are a Dutch political party whose highest priority is the welfare of our planet and all its inhabitants (including animals). The Party for the Animals (PvdD) is the first political party in the world that does not put the short-term interests of man in the pivotal position, but the entire planet and all her inhabitants instead. We are part of a global and growing movement that is committed to the interest of animals, nature and the environment in politics and public administration. We have 18 sister parties worldwide.

In the Netherlands, we are represented in the House of Representatives, the Senate, the Provincial States, multiple Water Boards and Municipalities. We also have a seat in the European Parliament.
