After three successful solo albums (This is Life, It’s the Journey, and Home for Christmas), there is no doubt that Andreas Aleman is the preeminent soul singer in Sweden and a world-class performing artist.
He has performed with the acclaimed band, Santa Fe & the Fat City Horns in Las Vegas; had sold out shows at the world-renowned jazz club, Fasching, in Stockholm, and toured in Sweden, Germany and Denmark. On his latest album, Home for Christmas, he also performed a duet featuring guest artist, Michael McDonald (Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, etc.).
LIVIN’ WITH A STRANGER is his latest single: a solid, funk-driven track in the tradition of Stevie Wonder and other eminent soul artists. The track features Pehr Hagerius on drums, Lars-Erik Dahle on bass, Mikko Pavola on guitar, Stefan Nykvist and Olivia Thörn on backing vocals, Mikael Emsing on percussion, Karl Olandersson: Trumpet, Magnus Wiklund: Trombone, and Wojtek Goral on saxophones.
