I cant help singing this song by John Denver as I am working on new silverpieces... Grateful to all of you who made my going home to Narvik to such a special and joyful time! Old and New FRIENDS - and all of you that we met! I miss you already!
Going back to Narvik to move in to the lovely and personal boutique "Førr ei Dame" (translates to "What a Lady") has been an all time high!
Line and Trine has created a hotspot in Narvik with their boutique. With the help from Berit and Ann-Helen I promise that you will just want to stay and stay... and if you felt good walking in, you'll feel great walking out!
Great to meet the gorgeous women Hege-Anita Axelsen and her model Gro Løkås from Himmelblaa as well! Hege-Anitas lovely, feminine and soft knit design that are handmade of women in Peru is a must-have. Quality and design with sustainability does not go out of style!
Friday night was SHOWTIME as Førr ei Dame and Sko & Sånt had invited over 100 guests to a Fashion Show arranged at Kafferiet - Malmen in Narvik. I have to admit that I got all teary-eyed as the models walked in wearing my jewelry - and of course the coolest clothes and shoes. Norwegian brands as well as others - very nice mix and great put together. Great food and good drinks! And most of all: Great people! Live music by Ståle Herving and Trond Espen Robertson who started the show by playing "Førr ei Dame" by Halvard Sivertsen, of course ;) He wrote this lovesong that I relly like as well...
I am so looking forward to receive some photos from the photographer to share! All the models did such a good job! Makeup was done by Oasen Spa and their hair by Klippen Frisør. And silver jewlery by 925 Catrine Linder... and as they all came out toghether at the end of the show...I was wiping tears left and right! What a kick to be a part of this! THANK YOU - THANK YOU- THANK YOU! Let's meet again soon!
PS: If you go to Narvik make sure to go to Linken Restaurant Og Bar!!! And walk to the top of at least one of the mountains...maybe before you go to Linken ;) We stayed at Breidablikk and was met by Katinka and Natali who made us the best breakfast...
