Over the past period, the Italian media has been largely preoccupied with Croatia and its rich tourist offer.

The prestigious Italian Traveller magazine has devoted its June edition to Croatia with a cover entitled "Chic Croatia", "Luxury and elegance, boutique 5 star hotels and beautiful houses in the countryside of Istria and Dalmatia in the conquest for new tourists".

The report written by the journalist Valeria Vantaggi about elegant Croatia is an excellent story for the Traveller, published by the renowned group Condé Nast, which largely influences the choice of readers in discovering new destinations.

"Forget brandy that will burn your stomach, forget the big Soviet style hotels, Croatia has renewed itself into a five-star destination, in each part offering a wide choice of hotels with numerous possibilities, private beaches, secluded houses, architecture, original style and beautiful nature. Apart from the beautiful coastline, Croatia will win you over with the richness of the islands, which you can ‘‘hop along’’ on your way to Dubrovnik".

In the monograph of the respected Italian monthly magazine Meridiani, more than 150 pages have been devoted to Croatia. The Chief Editor, Remo Guerrini, states in the introductory text: "Croatia has been known since Roman and Venetian times, but today's Croatia has diversity, not only on the coast and islands, but also inland. This is precisely the area to visit. Zagreb, a city full of life and youth, lakes and waterfalls, forests and plains of Slavonia and Baranja, while one should not forget the victims and wounds of Vukovar".

The monthly Bell'Europa, published a special report about Croatia on more than 70 pages, entitled "The other side of the Adriatic". The Chief Editor Emanuela Rosa Clot writes: "Holidays without limits. This is what is offered on the other side of the Adriatic; Croatia is growing each year, its tourist offer grows richer and richer. So for example, you can depart from Trieste by bicycle and arrive in Pula, you can sail by boat along the Kvarner Islands or come by car and ferry to one of the islands. Countless itineraries and content, Hvar - the island where life begins in the evening, Mljet - swimming in nature, the island of Brač - a paradise for sportsmen, Food Dalmatia ... "
