Brännland Cider of Sweden launches US distribution with Skurnik Wines

Brännland Cider, the award winning Swedish cider producer, announced today the launching of US distribution with Skurnik Wines, one of the most respected wine and spirits companies in the world. This marks Brännland Cider's first foray into the highly competitive US cider market after establishing themselves as one of the worlds top cider producers with distribution in Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland and their home market of Scandinavia. The distribution agreement covers 3 states - New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, with the company actively looking to expand to additional states and Canada.

We taste, select and offer for sale (to the trade only) a high quality, diversified portfolio of wines and spirits from around the world. The company began with just a handful of relatively unknown estates in 1987 and has since grown to represent over 500 estates. We are the exclusive representatives for these producers in our home markets of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, and are the national importer for many wines as well.

To this day, Michael and Harmon taste every vintage of every wine that makes it into the portfolio – to insure that each is good enough to wear the Skurnik Wines name. Wines are shipped using refrigerated containers (reefers) and are stored in our warehouse at a constant 55 degrees Fahrenheit. This insures that the wines arrive at the customer’s door in optimal condition.
