SAS opens two new routes from Copenhagen and Stockholm to Barcelona, and extends Oslo-Barcelona route

SAS sets an ambitious expansion plan in the connectivity between Barcelona and Scandinavia, with the establishment of two new routes from Copenhagen and Stockholm and the expansion of the already existing one from Oslo.

  • Copenhagen-Barcelona will start operating from 26th March 2021, initially with four weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, that will go up to daily frequencies from the end of June 2021.
  • Stockholm-Barcelona will also start operating from 26th March 2021. The initial setup includes a twice weekly operation, with flights on Mondays and Fridays. During the summer peak season, from June to August, the route will fly daily. Four weekly operations are planned from August and onwards, with flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
  • Oslo-Barcelona will extend its operation from summer peak only to full season route. First operation is planned for 21st April 2021, and it will operate on a twice weekly basis, with flights on Wednesdays and Sundays. The route will have daily departures during the summer peak season and continue with four weekly frequencies in the autumn.
