Unique Supply Chain ‘thought leadership’ Summit coming to Sweden in 2015

Niklas Hedin, CEO of Centiro Solutions AB and Dr. John Gattorna, Global supply chain thought leader, with academic partners University of Borås and UTS Business School Sydney, will be co-hosting an exclusive ‘by invitation only’ event in Borås, Sweden, 16-18 June, 2015. This event will be the 5th in the series since 2006. The previous Summit was held in Singapore in 2012.

“We will again be bringing together in one location, some of the finest minds in the world of enterprise supply chains, to engage with each other and an invited audience.” says Dr. Gattorna.

The event comes at a crucial time for world economies, as both East and West face their respective challenges. But one thing they share in common is that enterprise supply chains are the central nervous system of global business and commerce, and can offer solutions where no solutions previously existed.

“The event is a unique opportunity for thinkers and leaders on this level to connect and collaborate with peers behind closed doors. It’s a privilege to now have the opportunity to host this truly global event in Sweden.” says Niklas Hedin.

This event hopes to see the best of the Nordic companies mixed with other global leaders and academics in an eclectic mix.

About Dr. John Gattorna

John Gattorna has spent a lifetime working in and around enterprise supply chains, in many different capacities – line executive, researcher, consultant/adviser, teacher, mentor and author. For the last two decades John has been working with major blue chip multinational corporations to take his new model from the conceptual stage to a finer level of granularity; with companies including Dell; Unilever; Teys; Shell Development; and Schneider Electric.

He has written several books along the way as his thinking has evolved. John’s next book is due in March 2015, and will be officially launched at the Summit.  John Gattorna’s academic track: B.E. (Melb); MBA (Monash); PhD (Cranfield).

About Niklas Hedin

Niklas Hedin brings more than 20 years’ experience of how to develop businesses using insights and hands-on-experience on supply-chain and IT. He founded Centiro Solutions AB in 1998 which has been the proving ground for Niklas’ ideas on leadership, culture and strategy.

His core idea is that several of the traditional concepts on leadership and organizational design are broken and need renewal. His company is currently ranked among the top three companies to work for in Europe by Great Place To Work Institute. Niklas frequently shares his ideas as a speaker where he seeks to inspire others.
