Vernissage Iris Smeds Total Sell-Out

IRIS SMEDS SELL-OUT är ett performanceprojekt som behandlar konstens egentliga värde och idén om konstnären som ett skapat verk. Iris Smeds tot al sel-out består av en kortare utställning i hotellets foajé som avslutas med en auktion i ett av hotellets konferensrum den 6e november. Iris Smeds konstnärskap fokuserar på frågor rörande identitet som marknadsföring och gränslandet mellan subjekt och objekt, fiktion och verklighet. Iris Smeds och Clarion Hotel Stockholm välkomnar till vernissage torsdagen den 28e oktober kl 18-20 ****************************** IRIS SMEDS SELL-OUT is a performance project that deals with questions of the true value of art and the idea of the artist as an art piece. IRIS SMEDS TOTAL SELL-OUT consists of a short exhibition in the Hotel lobby that ends with an auction in one of the hotel’s conference rooms the 6th of November. In her art, Iris Smeds focus on issues such as identity as marketing, and the borderline between the subject and the object, fiction and reality.
