Innovative Video Player at NAB 2016

With a brand new, frame accurate video player in the cloud, Codemill is attending the NAB Show 2016. The player could replace desktop programs for video review and approval. The player is, simply put, a ready-to-use web-based video review tool.

Frame Accuracy

The video player is frame accurate and in the browser with direct integration to the Vidispine backbone, so it has no back-end or internal storage in itself. The user can review the video clip frame by frame directly in the cloud and comment. The player is built using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript only.

One of the minds behind the technology is Johanna Björklund, CTO and associate professor. She recently received a prize for being Sweden’s most innovative entrepreneur.
