Agneta Jacobsson to Leave Cushman & Wakefield
STOCKHOLM , 20 August 2018 – After 25 years Agneta Jacobsson, Cushman & Wakefield’s Head of Sweden and the Nordics, is standing down and will be leaving the firm later this year. The process of appointing her successor is ongoing.
Agneta Jacobsson co-founded the Swedish business of real estate services firm DTZ in 1993, and from 2004 she led the business in Sweden and later also joined the EMEA leadership team. In September 2015, when DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield merged, Agneta was appointed to her current role as Head of Sweden and the Nordics to oversee the integration of the two businesses and to expand delivery of Cushman & Wakefield’s services in Sweden and the Nordics.
Cushman & Wakefield is now firmly established as one of the major global advisory firms in Sweden. Its brand and services have also been extended into the rest of the Nordic region for the benefit of local and international clients through exclusive affiliate relationships. During her time as Head of Sweden and the Nordics, Jacobsson has widened the firm’s service offering – through new leasing and retail services teams – and also overseen numerous successes across Capital Markets, Valuation & Advisory and Occupier Services.
Agneta Jacobsson, Cushman & Wakefield’s Head of Sweden and the Nordics, said: “Establishing a strong Cushman & Wakefield team in Sweden and expanding our brand across the Nordic region has been an amazing job but I now feel that I have achieved what I set out to do when I was given this opportunity. It has not been an easy decision but the time is right to hand over to someone else who can continue our development across the region. I’m extremely proud of what we together have achieved and I know that the team’s success will continue.”
Colin Wilson, Cushman & Wakefield’s Chief Executive Officer, EMEA, said: “Agneta has played an instrumental role in establishing Cushman & Wakefield as a leading real estate advisor in Sweden and building a powerful team across the Nordics. She has also been a champion for diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout her time with the firm. We thank her for her long and loyal service and wish her every success in the future.”
Agneta will continue in her current role at Cushman & Wakefield until 1 November 2018.
