EuroBonus magazine Seasons named "b2c customer magazine of the year"
The SAS EuroBonus travel and lifestyle magazine Seasons has won the Guldbladet prize for business-to-consumer magazine of the year. The prize - awarded by the Swedish Association of Custom Publishers - is the most prestigious of its kind in Sweden.
Seasons last year took home the Guldbladet prize for "Best Design." This year the jury had this to say about the "b2c customer magazine of the year":
"It is about inspiring travel, having new experiences and earning more bonus points. A fun assignment for a magazine aimed at an audience only too happy to spread their wings. This magazine opens our eyes to new adventures with the help of good journalism appetizingly packaged."
Sofia Edholm of SAS EuroBonus says, "We're extremely pleased with the prize and our cooperation with the team behind Seasons. We're especially pleased with how well the magazine has been received by our customers, and how well it lives up to our business requirements. The purpose of the magazine is to provide the customer with added value in their EuroBonus membership and create a desire to travel. From the reader surveys we have carried out, we know that we have achieved both of these objectives.
Seasons is sent home to 185,000 SAS EuroBonus Gold and Silver members. The magazine is published four times a year in Swedish, Danish and Norwegian.
Seasons also contains EuroBonus Traveller, a newsletter with information and special offers from SAS EuroBonus. The newsletter is printed separately in English, Finnish and Finnish Swedish too.
Seasons' editor-in-chief Per Olsson sees the Guldbladet prize as evidence of commercial and publishing sucess. "This award shows that we have succeeded even in the eyes of the customer magazine industry," he says. "We also know from reader surveys - where 87% have rated Seasons as good or very good - that we are on track to delivering a magazine that inspires our demanding audience."
