Pressmeddelande -

Great Place to Work och NetApp bjuder in till "Floating Seminar" imorgon inför korningen av Europas Bästa Arbetsplatser 2012!

Stockholm 18th June 2012  – NetApp, one of the world’s leading IT software companies, is the sole sponsor of the exclusive ‘Floating Seminar’ which precedes the 2012 European Best Workplace awards evening gala.

The European Best Workplace awards, now in their 11th year, will be held in Berlin on 19th June at which this year’s top 100 Best European Workplaces will be announced including their ranking. The event will be attended by Chief Executives and senior HR personnel from the 18 European countries where the 100 successful organisations have qualified as Best Workplaces.

Best Practice from Europe’s best

The ‘Floating Seminar’, which takes place on Berlin’s canals in the afternoon before the awards ceremony, provides a unique opportunity for senior executives of Europe’s Best Workplaces to network, exchange ideas and learn from some of the greatest leaders and practitioners in employee engagement. In particular, they will see how incorporating key values essential to creating the right workplace culture can help organisations deal more effectively with business and economic challenges. They will hear and learn from key speakers from the Great Place to Work® Institute, global leaders in workplace assessment and optimisation for 25 years. They will learn about Giftwork Training, the Institute’s unique training programme which gives every manager the skills they need to build a workplace culture of trust, innovation and productivity. Keynote speaker is Prof. Dr. Martin Grothe, Managing Partner of complexium GmbH and Visiting Professor, University of Arts, Berlin. Dr. Grothe, an expert on Social Media, will chair the session How Employers Must Now Use and Engage Social Media.

Exclusive audience

Each of the 100 companies attending the seminar has been recognised as one of Europe’s Best Workplaces. This is achieved through a rigorous process which ultimately measures the levels of trust within the organisation. Trust is critical to creating the kind of workplace culture essential for achieving organisational objectives. Organisations that are officially recognised by the Great Place to Work® Institute as Best Workplaces are shown to be more productive and more profitable, and with stronger employer branding.

“We are delighted that NetApp has chosen to sponsor our Floating Seminar”,’ said José Tolovi, Jr., Chairman of the Board of Great Place to Work®.  “The seminar will showcase key thinking and practices by some of Europe’s foremost practitioners and academics.”
