Students Competing with Job Matching Platform for Africa

Today, over 1.8 billion workers in developing countries are informally employed. Searching for a job in Nairobi, Kenya, is a daily challenge. At the same time, employers are struggling to find reliable and skilled workers. Four students have with their job matching platform made it to the regional finals of the annual Hult Prize Challenge, the world’s largest student competition for social good.

Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (MISUM) på Handelshögskolan i Stockholm, har undersökt de 72 största börsbolagens (Large cap) hållbarhetskommunikation och huruvida företagen implementerar och utvärderar det som de kommunicerar externt.

På torsdag den 23 maj presenterar organisationen 180 Degrees Consulting terminens arbete. Organisationen drivs av studenter på Handelshögskolan som vid sidan av sina studier arbetar med att erbjuda hjälp till andra volontärorganisationer i management- och ekonomifrågor.

Project Moral Investment är ett nytt initiativ som drivs av studenter genom Handelshögskolan i Stockholms studentkår och ämnar att lyfta ämnet socialt företagande bland Sveriges studenter och näringsliv. Projektgruppen utgörs av sex studenter från Sverige och Norge.

The CEMS Club (Community of European Management Schools) and the Student Association at the Stockholm School of Economics are joining the local TNT branch to Walk the World 2007 in Stockholm. The walk takes place at Cirkusplatsen on Gärdet from 10am onwards. Participation fee for adults is 100 SEK and 50 SEK for children. The 5km walk will be followed by a social gathering as well as a tombola....
