HARMAN International Industries, Incorporated (NYSE:HAR), today announced the availability of the AKG K 830 BT on-ear mini headphones with Bluetooth® wireless technology, designed to eliminate tangled wires for consumers with an on-the-go lifestyle. Running through the airport, catching the next conference call or listening to the latest tunes on a plane will be a much more pleasant – and completely wireless – experience. The K 830 BT headphones are compatible with iPod, iPhone or other Bluetooth portable device, and stream music to listeners’ ears without the hassle of wires.
The source device is controlled from the ear cup of the AKG K 830 BT Bluetooth headphones, allowing users to raise and lower volume, answer and end phone calls, and play, pause or skip music tracks. Consumers can leave their source device safely in a pocket, a backpack or a briefcase the majority of the time while on the go. The built-in battery allows for up to 10 hours of playback time between charges. A directional microphone, also on the ear cup, eliminates the need for a boom mic.
