Following the path of creativity, he emerged as the winner of the global final of Hernö Gin Cocktail Awards 2019. His cocktail of smoked juniper wood, sea water and red ants totally blew the judges minds.

Devender Kumar is Bar Manager at 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana in Hong Kong. The only Italian restaurant outside Italy in the world honoured with three Michelin stars. Growing up in a small village in India, he dreamt of being a star in the Bollywood film industry. Today he is the star in one of the best bars in the world. On 25 August he will take lead in the bar at Hernö Gin Cocktail Awards in Skule.
