Florpad™ will soon produce floorpads branded with the Leksands IF logo after signing an agreement with the Swedish ice hockey team.
Since its foundation almost 100 years ago, Leksands IF has become one of the most recognizable names in Swedish sport. Despite coming from an eponymous village of just 6,000, the team has gone on to win four Swedish championships. Its home ground, Tegera Arena, can swallow the whole population of Leksand, and then some.
Although it may come from a tiny village and currently plays in Hockeyallsvenskan, Leksands IF still had the sixth best attendance in Swedish ice hockey last season, only beaten by five teams in SHL.
Florpad™ uses innovative technology and high-tech materials to create an octagon-shaped floor pad which stylishly protects floors from spills and scratches from gaming and office chairs.
Lars Andersson of Leksands IF said: “We look forward to starting this collaboration with Irootfor. We’ve noticed that young people appreciate both ice hockey and esport, so we feel this is a step in the right direction for Leksand. It is, of course, also a bonus that Florpad™ fits nicely into our range.”
