JOOL Markets partners with Climate Bonds Initiative

JOOL Markets has strengthened its position in the Green & Climate Bonds market by joining the Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI) Partners Program as of September 1, 2018. The current Climate Bonds Initiative Partners include several banks, institutional investors, bond issuers and asset managers.

Green bonds provide a convenient platform for responsible public and private investors to invest in eco-friendly, sustainable green assets and projects (e.g., green buildings, renewable energy, energy efficiency, low carbon, clean transportation, water efficiency).

Through participation in the partner network of the Climate Bonds Initiative, JOOL contributes in building a sustainable society, increases environmental transparency and promotes for the development of the rapidly growing market for green and climate-designated investment opportunities in the Nordic high yield corporate bond market.

Climate Bonds Partners Program: Banks, institutional investors, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and governments are eligible to join as Climate Bond Partners to help grow a market of green and climate bonds. Partners assist in developing initiatives to grow investment in climate finance solutions and participate in different market development and information.

Placement of a green bond tap issue for Advanced SolTech Sweden AB fully subscribed

The 125 MSEK bond tap issue for Advanced SolTech Sweden AB has been fully subscribed. JOOL Markets AS acted as Sole Manager and Bookrunner for the bond issue. The bond tap issue has a floating interest rate starting at 9 % p.a. with a 3-months IBOR component, with quarterly payments and maturity in January 2023.

The past year has seen continued acceleration in global green bond issuance and the future remains promising for companies looking to finance sustainable projects.
