​Konstfack best in Sweden!

Konstfack continues to climb the QS World University Rankings list of the world's leading universities and higher education institutions for art and design. In 2016 we are:

Best in Sweden
Second best in the Nordic countries
Number 11 in Europe
Number 41 in the world

“Last year we were in spot 51 on the global list and advancing a full ten positions feels great. We continuously work to improve our programmes and our new professors have definitely contributed to this, as has our small but cutting edge research environment. There is great energy in the house right now - many foreign exchange students combined with other international projects and good collaboration between the various programmes gives us an attractive and dynamic environment. Ranking lists should obviously be taken with a grain of salt but they are a way of making sure that we are collaborating with the best. In the QS ranking we can see that our partner schools are among the top in the world, just like we are”, says Konstfack's Vice-Chancellor Maria Lantz.

The QS Topuniversities is the world's leading global career and education network, and each year it publishes a ranking of all the world's universities in a given field. In 2016 Konstfack shares all ranking spots with Umeå University.
