L'Oréal Professionnel <3 Fashion Week

L'Oréal Professionnel var på plats backstage igår den 24/8 under Fashion Week Stockholm. Hårstylisten Cim Mahony stylade modellerna till Björn Borgs visning som ägde rum på Långholmen under Västerbron. Cim fokuserade på 4 stylingprodukter från L'Oréal Professionnel som gav modellerna en back slick wet look. Långa hår stylades i hästsvansar formade som blött hår direkt från duschen, samlade likt spikar. Produkterna som stod i fokus var WET Domination Shower Shine, WET Domination Extreme Splash, Tecni Art Pli Shaper och Tecni Art Liss Control.

Cim Mahony - Biography

Cim has over 20 years of experience as a session hairstylist, working in the inner circle of the fashion Industry.

Today he is regarded amongst the most accomplished session hairdressers in the business and his numerous magazine credits includes Allure, Harpers Bazaar, W, iD and practically every major edition of Vogue, including French , Italian, Chinese, Japanese and US.

Advertising clients includes Bvlgari, Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Hugo Boss L’Oreal, Shiseido, Kenzo, Michael Kors, DKNY, Iceberg, Trussardi and H&M amongst many others.

Cim collaborates with some of the most respected Photographers working in the world today, including Hedi Slimane, Patrick Demarchelier and Peter Lindbergh.

Through his career Cim has styled the hair of many celebrated men and women including supermodels and Oscar winning hollywood actors and actresses such as Jennifer Lawrence, Rosamund Pike, Carey Mulligan, Kiera Knightly, Kate Hudson, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Robert Redford , to name a few.

He is no stranger to royalty either, having amongst others, worked with H.R.H Crown Prince Frederik and H.R.H Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.

Cim Has extensive experience in consulting, education and art direction and has been contracted by many cosmetics giants for his expertise, including L’Oreal and Proctor & Gamble.

In May of 2014 Cim opened up a very exclusive hair studio, situated in a beautiful old apartment in the most affluent area of Copenhagen.

Studio Cim Mahony is not only a Salon employing some of Europe’s most talented hairstylists, but also a lab created for the development of new techniques and products.

Björn Borg Collection S/S 2016

TRAINING FOR MARS
The Björn Borg S/S 2016 fashion show is a tribute to Mars One - a not for profit foundation with the goal of establishing a permanent human settlement on Mars 2027.

Björn Borg Head Designer James Lee is teaming up with editor and stylist extraordinaire Naomi Itkes for the SS16 fashion show. The creative duo will together strengthen the out of Earth experience by creating show pieces inspired by the courage and vision that drive human innovation forward. The show pieces will refer to the history of space travel and the journey to find new frontiers that took place during the 1970’s and 80’s. By looking at retro styles, colours and silhouettes from this era and clashing them together with modern high performance materials, detailing and techniques, the duo aims to create a collection that honours the past but is also ideal for the journey that Mars One is preparing for.
