Nice Norwegian Nominations

Nice is heavily represented among the nominees for the Norwegian TV Award Gullruten. So if you heard someone cheering yesterday, it was probably your Norwegian colleagues getting the news on the nominations. 17 nice nominations in 9 categories plus 10 individuals and teams honored, adding up to 27 nice nominations all together, is definitely worth a roar!

Monster have their name on 17 of the nominations, and the nice companies at Bergehus - Strix Norway, Rakett and Novemberfilm - collected a record breaking number of nominations - 10 all together. 

"10 nominations are nothing less than fantastic. The nominations are all across the genres that represent our core business, and we see this as a sign that our productions are among the best, and that our house is filled with the best crew in the business. We are very proud today!", says CEO of Strix Norway, Jørgen Hermansen.

Particularly the small crowd from Novemberfilm had a day to remember as 4 of their productions were shortlisted in 6 categories.

"I am almost out of words and need time to digest this. This is absolutely insanely fantastic! I keep saying that our team is the best and most dedicated there is, and when their work is appreciated like this, I only have two words; Happiness and Hurray!", says CEO of Novemberfilm, Kjetil Johnsen.

When you include all the individual acknowledgements, Monster has impressive 17 nominations all across the board with 4 of them for the drama series Grenseland / Borderliner - produced for TV2 in Norway and currently featuring on Netflix in large parts of the world. 

"We are humble and very glad to see that so many of our productions are acknowledged and noticed with the Gullruten nominations. I find it particularly nice that all our nominations are for our homegrown shows developed by Monster Format. But most of all, I find it fantastic that we have such a skilled team and so many nice productions on air", says CEO at Monster, Ingvild Daae.
