When Fryday started its total focus was on producing events. After the events gained traction Fryday started using social media to support the event activities. Social media was also used to support the international expansion. As of 2015 Fryday have produced events in 22 countries in Europe, Central Asia and North America.
With a growing number of members it has become more important for Fryday to have an online presence it can control. That is why Fryday launches its website only after five years of operations.

Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Romania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Tadjikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Sweden and Costa Rica.
The first Fryday event was held in Kyiv, Ukraine, on April 23rd 2010. 17 guests showed up then. Now the record attendance at a Fryday event stands at 670 guests and more than 170k members are registered in the database.
Fryday's founder is Swedish and Fryday is a registered company in Sweden.
