New rules for .NZ (new Zeeland)

Nyhet   •   Sep 23, 2014 15:26 CEST

On September 30 the top-level domain of New Zealand will change its framework. It then becomes possible to register domain names directly under .NZ. All previous subdomains, like .CO.NZ and .ORG.NZ, will still be available in the future.

There will be no restrictions for applying on available domain names. Note however that during the first six months all domains registered under a subdomain will be reserved. Owners of subdomains under .NZ can then choose to buy their names directly under .NZ, or block it for others for a period of two years.
