On a daily basis, ACT.Global is helping people to a better life by securing them a clean and low-bacterial environment. But we are fully aware that there are plenty of people that worry about much more pressing problems.
Therefore, ACT.Global has decided to support a charity program in Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone is one of the poorest places in the world. The little country in West Africa is mostly known for Ebola, child soldiers, blood diamonds and civil war. But things are changing to the better.
ACT.Global is actively supporting a charity project called Football for A New Tomorrow (FANT). Even though the program is run by former Danish international football player, Erik Rasmussen, the program is not solely about football.
FANT uses the connecting power of football to promote and offer education and exchange of culture to some of the neediest people in the world. By offering basic needs, education and widening the horizon of the kids enrolled in the program, FANT hopes to influence the next generation of leaders in Sierra Leone, and hopefully empower them to change the course of the country.
The money and resources that ACT.Global gives FANT is spent building compounds for kids, women and others in need. You can read more about FANT and the project here.
