Today It Begins!
After a long and careful application process this past spring, today marks the start for Bonnier Accelerator 2014 and the entrepreneurs from startups Abios Gaming and Codarica. The two teams are now taking their places at Bonnier HQ in downtown Stockholm.
The three-month program will see the teams taking part in workshops on entrepreneurial skills, developing a business model, the value proposition, plus they will take part in several key networking events in Bonnier, as well as spend time with specially chosen mentors and receive coaching on their pitches.
"We're very excited"
“It’s going to be great to work together with Bonnier,” says Oskar Fröberg, CEO and founder of Abios Gaming.
“We look forward to continuing to develop Abios Gaming and giving eSport the recognition its fans are looking for.” Along with Fröberg, the Abios Gaming team includes Anton Janér, CTO and founder as well as fellow founder Birger Myrberg.
“We have a ‘standing on the shoulders of giants’ feeling!” says Rosalyn Knapp, technological strategist and founder of Codarica.
“We are very excited to join Bonnier Accelerator and looking forward to all the intensive challenges ahead of us.” The Codarica team also includes CMO and Founder Lovisa Levin and CEO and Founder Sanna Nilsson.
The first big milestone will be their mid-term pitches, which they’ll be giving in mid-October to the Bonnier Growth Media team.
