Flashmob dance in Nordstan 10 May

On the occasion of International dance day, a bunch of dance lovers thought, what better way to welcome spring than through dance? So to unite people through dance and celebrate the onset of spring, RANG (Chalmers Indian Association) has planned a flashmob, to be held in Nordstan on 10th May, 2015, 1215. 

RANG is an association comprising of past and present students of Chalmers, who aim at bringing out the essence of Indian culture in Gothenburg through dance, music, food and festivals. RANG has previously organized a flashmob inside the Chalmers campus which proved to be a grand success considering the large crowd that danced along and a whole campus of Chalmerists who enjoyed it. Now, we bring back for Gothenburg, an exciting flashmob comprising of people of different nations and different ages. “It has been my dream to be in a flashmob”, as quoted by Chris, one of our flashmob enthusiasts. Another dance lover, Anita said, “It is the first time that I am dancing, that also in a foreign land.” We chose Nordstan as our venue since we wanted to spread this enthusiasm and joy to the rest of the city, on the lovely Sunday morning.

We welcome everyone to Nordstan, expo 3 on 10th May, to be a part of this exciting venture and dance on the tunes of international music along with our team and flashmob enthusiasts. We hope that, through an article about this, the media will spread this spirit of dance to the hearts of many who were not able to attend.
