Press Invitation: The Paper Province at PulPaper 2014
The Paper Province is a European World-Class cluster for the pulp and paper industry in mid Sweden. Here corporations, universities and public authorities cooperate to develop new products and services and thereby strengthening regional competitiveness.
To start moving our industry towards a bioeconomy we have in the last year been working on new innovation projects, a European Knowledge Alliance on Energy Efficiency and arranged an innovation challenge. One innovation project is the algae farm at Nordic-Paper Bäckhammar that started up last week. Another initiative is the establishment of cooperation with forest industries in Norway, Sweden and Finland to develop new Horizon-2020 projects.
