Russian Internet giant Yandex uses Picsearch - The Russian search portal improves image search

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 28, 2008 - Yandex, the largest search portal in Russia, has selected Picsearch to enhance its search services. Working in close cooperation the two companies have given users of Yandex image search the possibility to search in all languages and among all images in the world. The cooperation started in December 2007.

Yandex is the largest search portal in Russia with a market share of 55% (LiveInternet.ru December 2007). Every day more than 8 million unique visitors enjoy Yandex's different search features: web search, image search, blog search, local search and much more. Over 900 000 unique visitors use image search every day.
