27 Internet and Media Companies in Nine Categories Nominated for SIME Awards 2006

The jury for SIME Awards has now selected three participants in each of the competition’s nine categories. The winners are announced on November 23rd during Scandinavian Interactive Media Event (SIME), northern Europe’s largest Internet conference that is being held in Stockholm, Sweden on November 22 and 23.

SIME was first held ten years ago. It has become Northern Europe’s largest annual conference on Internet, telecom, entertainment and media with approx. 60 speakers and close to 1000 guests. SIME is held in Stockholm, Sweden on November 22 and 23. This year SIME will focus on e.g. global blogging, European successful companies and entrepreneurs, the media convergence, and the video revolution.

Two days of intensive dialogue and networking are rounded off with a gala dinner and SIME Awards in nine different categories plus he prestigious SIME Grand Prize that last year was won by Skype.

The jury has selected three nominees in each of the nine categories. They are:
