The Veloped all-terrain walker from Trionic of Sweden continues to win fans all over the world.

After his very first outing with his new Veloped, Alan Campbell of Turriff in England is delighted;

-“Can I thank you and all the team at Trionic. My Veloped arrived yesterday and what a revelation!

Since being diagnosed with MS I have a severe weakness on my right hand side which required me to use crutches to walk around. Someone mentioned that they had a Veloped and I should consider getting one. Since starting to walk again with my wife Karen and our two dogs Henry and Jerry, we had been doing our circuit of country roads over a distance of 3.3 miles every day. First time out it took nearly 3 hours and we had gradually reduced this to about an hour and a half. I must admit it was torture using the crutches, I usually ended up with bruised palms and very sore wrists and mentally it was no good as I felt as if I was holding Karen and the dogs up.

Within 15 minutes of using my Veloped I was actually crying with joy as I could walk almost normally again, all be it with my now slightly weird gait! Karen and I completed the walk last night in 1hr 10 mins. first time out! We were grinning and laughing the whole way round and the pace was such that I didn't feel like a burden to her. With the Veloped some kind of normality without the ability impairment seemed to have returned. We are now planning on doing all sorts of walks in the Highlands and provided there is a reasonable track we hope to attempt some hills/mountains.

Really I can't thank you guys enough, I am going to get so much joy from using this aid the benefits will be immeasurable.

I attach a couple of photos from last night, feel free to use them and my comments how you want. Just one question, have you ever thought of doing slightly wider tyres? I'd love to go on long strolls along a beach with Karen and at the water’s edge where the sand is firm that might be possible, but I wonder if the standard wheels might sink into the softer stuff.”

Kind regards and thanks again,

Alan Campbell
